Driving Directions
|
After leaving Deer
Lake Airport on Newfoundland’s west coast, turn right onto the Trans
Canada Highway (Route 1) and drive approximately 2 kilometers (1mile)
to the Route 430 off ramp. Turn right onto Route 430 (Viking
Trail) and drive north for approximately 170 kilometers (100 miles), 100
(60) of which are through the beautiful Gros Morne National Park. After
155 kilometers (90 miles) you will drive through Parsons Pond. Another
15 kilometers (10 miles) will bring you to the turnoff for Portland
Creek. Turn left onto the Main Road and proceed 1.5 kilometers (1 mile)
to the end of the road. Pass through our rustic gate and you are home
away from home.
