Entente Cordiale Inn is located on 7 secluded acres on a beautiful sandy beach at the end of the Main Road in Portland Creek, just 15 minutes north of Gros Morne National Park.
Driving Directions:
After leaving Deer Lake Airport on Newfoundland’s west coast, turn right onto the Trans Canada Highway (Route 1) and drive approximately 2 kilometers (1mile) to the Route 430 off ramp. Turn right onto Route 430 (Viking Trail) and drive north for approximately 170 kilometers (100 miles), 100 (60) of which are through the beautiful Gros Morne National Park. After 155 kilometers (90 miles) you will drive through Parsons Pond. Another 15 kilometers (10 miles) will bring you to the turnoff for Portland Creek. Turn left onto the Main Road and proceed 1.5 kilometers (1 mile) along the waterfront to the end of the road. Pass through our gate and you are home away from home!
If you are driving east on the Trans Canada Highway through Deer Lake, once you pass the Irving big stop gas station and the overpass, turn right and enter the off ramp to Route 430 (Viking Trail). Turn right again at the intersection and head north as per above directions.
